Since it doesn’t look like the rain is letting up anytime soon here are some indoor rainy day activities to keep the kids busy and yourself sane!
- Build a fort! (One of our personal childhood and Giggle Magazine office favorites)
- Send the kids on a scavenger hunt through the house.
- Play board games, or Twister! (If you don’t have Twister it’s time to invest)
- Teach them something new with this rain-making activity.
- Create a snack that’s as cool to make as it is tasty to eat!
- Have the kids come up with a story, costumes and a set and then let them put on their own stage performance.
- Get artsy with some craft ideas.
- Finally, if it’s been deemed safe enough to go outside and you don’t mind a little bit of clean up, go splash in the puddles and dance in the rain!
