Giggle Away the Rainy Day Blues

After lazily going through several rainy days here in Florida we’re sure that the whole family has a case of cabin fever. 

Since it doesn’t look like the rain is letting up anytime soon here are some indoor rainy day activities to keep the kids busy and yourself sane! 

• Build a fort! (One of our personal childhood and Giggle Magazine office favorites)
• Send the kids on a scavenger hunt through the house.
• Play board games, or Twister! (If you don’t have Twister it’s time to invest)
• Teach them something new with this rain-making activity. 
• Create a snack that’s as cool to make as it is tasty to eat! 
• Have the kids come up with a story, costumes and a set and then let them put on their own stage performance.
• Get artsy with some craft ideas.
• Finally, if it’s been deemed safe enough to go outside and you don’t mind a little bit of clean up, go splash in the puddles and dance in the rain!
